the creator and the creation...

Well...this has to be one of the strangest of my dreams so far.And that's not so because it contains too many fantastic scenarios and situations, but because I am unable to figure out anything from it. Usually, though people are shocked or puzzled by my dreams, I am able to find atleast some amount of sense after some introspection. Not this one though, the harder I have thought about it, the more have I landed in a web of confusion, which is why I decided to post it here, so that I get it out of my system and can give some objective thought to it at a later stage. So, here is how it goes...
It all begins in a small shack near a pond at the base of what seems to be a bit oddly formed mountain with its peak bathed in blood red and then the intermediate portion covered with layers and layers of snow before coming down to the base which is covered with lush greenery. In the dream, I see myself as a self-absorbed painter who apparently has made the shack his home for a long time and spends his time in painting, sitting outside the shack under a tree which is half burnt and half green with the blossoms of the spring. The scene I happen to see is where I am depicting the mountains on canvas. What is especially puzzling that though the painting contains a lot of colours, I am using just one brush and it seems to produce the required hue the moment I think of it. When the painting gets completed after what seems like many days, it is an almost a picture-perfect reproduction of the actual scenery. I feel proud of myself on putting together such a good piece of art. So, I put my signature in the corner of the painting. The moment I do that, the painting burst out in flames. In throes of panic, I try to put out the flames with my bare hands, not caring for the fire. But when my hand enters the fire, I find that the flames are ice-cold. Scared, I withdraw myself and helplessly watch the flames consume the painting. After that, I create many paintings, though all meet the same fate . It's almost as if the creation seeks to deny the creator, rather preferring self-destruction.
As and when I happen to make some sense of this one, I will be back with more.Till then, keep peering into the shadows...

well things are going well, it gets spoilt when u take credit for it. cud it b coz u know thatere are lots of other factors that brought the success 9the magic brush) or is it that u feel guilty for taking credit for smthing?
